RSA: Tony, you’ve been a sponsor and a manager. What do you look for in a player
when you’re forming a team?

Tony: I look for guys who are team players and most of all commitment showing
up for tournaments and putting the work in during the off season.

RSA: Bob Johnson/Rizzo has had a really good season. What do you believe is the
reason for this year’s success?

Tony: We played this year for Jeff Drain knowing it was probably his last
year traveling and we wanted to give him a season to remember and no matter how bad we may
play at times, we have found a way to win. We never give up.

RSA: Where do you see Rochester Softball in 10 years?
Tony: I’m hoping we can keep Rochester softball strong. We need younger guys as
40–50-years old will carry us to more senior world championships.

RSA: If you could change one senior softball rule, what would it be?
Tony: If I could change one rule it would be everyone starts with a 1-1 count
and with no waste foul.

RSA: What is the one thing your team does that sets it apart from other teams?
Tony: We are family. We do everything together which makes stronger on the field.
